Pistol- Level 3
Course description:
Course BLERTON MOSS ACADEMY Pistol-Level 3 is the continuation of our previous courses, but on leading you however to an advanced level. Speed and precision matter most. At this stage we start shooting under pressure, operating on covers both individually and in small groups. Are you hurt? Not a problem. We can teach you how to handle a gun using one hand only. After a brief review of the basics, we move on to mastering new skills.
Preliminary requirements:
It is requiredRifle – Level 3 course to have the Blerton Moss Academy Rifle -Level 2 course completed (or any other course on a comparable level). The course includes basic rifle use, so skills in this area are required too.
Main points of the course:
- First aid on a shooting range – basics.
- Shooting under pressure, shortage of time.
- Adjusting equipment to a tactical situation.
- Shooting at various pace levels.
- Dynamic shooting (twists and turns).
- Operating on covers (in small groups).
- Moving between covers, covering fire.
- Wounded shooter.
- Obstacle course drills.
Equipment needed:
- Rifle and sling,
- semi-automatic pistol,
- 600 rounds of ammunition 9 mm (you may order it from the Academy),
- 60 rounds of ammunition 5.56mm
- 6 magazines,
- tactical belt 2 mag.-5.56 and 2 mag 9 mm pouches,
- Tactical vest 2 mag. pouches-5.56,
- OWB holster,
- Clothes adjusted to the weather conditions,
- eye-protection and hearing protectors.
Additional information:
To complete the course you have to pass both theoretical and practical part of the exam on all levels.
The Academy reserves the right to remove a participant from the course in case of poor performance, not fulfilling the course standards or posing a threat.
